We have two options for you to get started with CrossFit:
1. Free Intro-Saturdays at 8:00AM. This is a one time trial that gives you the general philosophy of CrossFit and takes you through a workout. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers and you are welcome to stay and watch our members at their 9:00AM class. 2. On Ramp. This course is required for new and inexperienced crossfitters. It meets on Tuesdays/Thursdays at 5:30PM. You are required to attend all four classes before graduating to participation in our CrossFit group classes (WODS) Our trainers will go over the technique/mechanics involved in the 9 foundational movements of CrossFit. Our intention is to help you become familiar with the moves and start to gain mastery over them so as to perform them safely, efficiently and consistently once you are in our group classes. Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.
The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.
The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.
Thousands of athletes worldwide have followed our workouts posted daily on this site and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and homes. Our CrossFit classes are centered around a Workout of the Day or “WOD.” The WODs are constantly varied so there is never a boring workout. Our trainers are there to guide, motivate and keep you focused on good form. The group environment encourages competition, camaraderie, and support. We scale the WODs to fit everyone’s current fitness levels whether you are a beginner, elite athlete or senior citizen.
